Notes de l'éditeur

  1. List where average people feel anxious. Eg. Problem at work, before doing a exam, important decision. List some simple things that can cause anxiety attack
  2. Mention this: Fear of asparagus is also real. It’s called spargarophobia.
  3. The fear can be so extreme that some people stay in their homes. Most people who have agoraphobia develop it in their 20s.
  4. many buildings don’t label the 13th floor. People who live or stay on the actual 13th floor might be less anxious because they believe they are on the 14th floor.
  5. So when your other anxiety is triggered, or a fear comes into play, you usally have a panic attack
  6. To phobia only: First, he might look at a photo of a plane. Then watch a video before going to the airport to see a plane take off. Finally, he might be able to fly.
  7. Psychotherapy is a type of counselling
  8. It's called cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT. A counselor helps you identify negative thoughts and actions. CBT may include homework, such as writing down the thoughts that lead to excess worry. You will also learn calming strategies. People can feel better in three to four months.
