automation is the way of the future,
automation does not, in any way,
eliminate the need to for trained
technologists to run those machines. The
testing performed by these machines is
high complexity and not anybody can do
them. Machines are not infallible. They
likely never will be. It is highly
recommended that you at least seek a
specialty in something (e.g.
immunohematology/blood banking). It
