US Vice President Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project to serve as a volunteer Climate Reality Leader for
the Climate Reality Leadership Corps.
Vanessa was trained in Miami, US in 2015. The training was a multi- day event focused on providing a select
group of trainees with a deep understanding of the latest climate change science, as well as best practices in
public speaking, social media, leadership, communication, community outreach, and organizing.
Vanessa is a one of thousands of trained Climate Reality Leaders from over 120 countries trained by Climate
Reality Founder and Chairman Al Gore. This group has been extraordinarily successful at reaching people in
their communities and informing them about the global climate crisis and its solutions.
