 Paytm is an electronic payment and e-
commerce portal that operates from
India. It’s headquarters is in Delhi, NCR.
 The company has been in operations
sinceAugust 2010, it is owned by ONE97
communications.
 Paytm stands for Payment Through
Mobile. The company currently has more
13,000 employee and also transacts with
3 million offline merchants across India.
 In addition to the portal the company
also owns the Paytm payment gateway
and the Paytm Wallet.
• Contingency approach the most effective in promoting a
good organizational structure and organizational
relationships as compare to other management approach.
• While it is a form of structure, management, and success of
the organisation dependent upon a range of situational
variables.
• Contingency approach seeks to apply the situational ideas
drawn from various circumstances management.
• This approach has the view of ‘if-then’ relationship.

the authority of those managers in
the organisation who are directly
responsible for achieving these
objectives.
 It is the authority to direct the
work of others and to require
them to confirm to decisions,
plans, policies, systems,
procedures and goals.
 So line authority’ is the direct
authority which a superior
exercises over his subordinates to
carry out orders and instructions.
By providing basic decisions for the
functioning of the organisation.
By making the leadership process
effective through the establishment
of communication channels.
It provides points of reference for
the approval or rejection of
proposals.
It serves as a means of control by
setting limits to the scope of
managerial actions
 In order for employers to maximize their
messaging strategy, they need to understand
which communication channels are most
effective at reaching their employees.
 No matter which channel an employer uses, it’s
important to put together a targeted strategy
that includes multiple channels.
 In general, people who receive information in a
variety of ways will have a better chance of
actually paying attention to the information and
taking action.
