Reflective Journal about the module of Rights in Malaysia
1. REFLECTIVE JOURNEL- PERSON
Through this module I have received an assignment (E-Portfolio) from my lecturer which
is Mrs. Saratha with a group of five members to accomplish the topic that assigned to us.
We required creating a webpage by using wix.com and also making it present in the
creative way. The topic is inspecting to fundamental rights and liberties in Federal
Constitution.
Q1: What have you learned about the topic that has been assigned?
From the topic of fundamental rights and liberties, I had greatly learned about the rights
and liberties of a citizen in Malaysia should have. As through my mind, I had found out
everyone is equality before the laws come in and no one can be punished without
breaching the law. As a result of my assignment, it’s really increased my knowledge
based on fundamental rights and liberties.
Q2: Why the issue is of interest to you?
The issue that I am conferring is the article 10 of federal constitution which stated
freedom of speech, assembly and associated. I am interesting on which subject of a talk
will be restricted? As I am a talkative people, I know that freedom of speech is difficult to
regulator and manage since everyone has their own word to express. But do the
freedom of speech really allow completely in Malaysia? So, we better be careful while
going to talk about some sensitive topic in Malaysia to avoid get involved into the law.
Q3: What activities, kinds of feedback, and other support have helped you the most?
I still remember the Q&A section was useful to me by questioning lecture about the
information that I am not really understood. The way lecturer teaches us was quite
interesting with those cases and it’s contain.
2. Q4: What is Taylor’s Graduate Capabilities (TGC) and how was the TGCs developed in
the course of completing this assignment?
TGC is a rule that permit understudies to practice their capacities all through the module.
Next, TGC also enhance university-level education to meet the ever- changing demands
of industry, community and globalization.

I has learned how critically and creatively to carry out my presentation by using the
concepts taught by our lecturer.
Digital Literacy
Throughout this module I had learned about using the ‘Lexisnexis’ well in searching the
cases that we need to apply in our assignment. It was a good and easy way to allow us
comprehends the cases talk about in order to present well to my friends.
Lifelong Learning
I had to admit that this module was increasing my knowledge and it is useful in my future
to become a qualified Quantity Surveyor.
Q5: Your overall reflection on this module (for the entire semester)
The knowledge that I had learned from the entire module will bring a lot of benefits to me
during my future life. In addition, I understand about the rights and liberties as a citizen,
