About the research
Accenture conducted field research across
the United States and Canada in late 2020 to
better understand asset managers’ priorities for
today, tomorrow and into 2025. We surveyed
250 senior executives at asset management
firms—including institutional, retail, alternative
and hedge funds. The survey included 17 of
the top 25 largest asset managers globally.
The executives were evenly aligned to one
of seven business functions: investment
management, operations, marketing and brand,
technology, product, distribution and strategy.
