Ethics Paper/Presentation Rubric The Final Ethics project can be either a paper or a presentation. Each project must include a review of an ethical issue. You should use the information that you have learned in the book chapters, case studies, and discussions. Try to keep personal beliefs aside and use evidence to support your topic. This can be an individual project or a paper. If you will work in a group, then all students should work together to complete the paper/presentation. Please let me know who will be in your group. If you choose to complete a project, this can be a poster presentation, in-depth PowerPoint, Kahoot, Apple clips, or iMovie. The project will be graded based on the following: Introduction/ Identification of the problem- 10 points Consideration of who is affected by the ethical dilemma- 15 points An analysis of ethical theories that support your dilemma- 15 points Any consequences from your ethical analysis- 15 points Is there a course of action that can be justified by your support or lack of support of your ethical issue?- 10 points Conclusion- 5 points Writing style, use of APA, grammar- 30 points Total- 100 points If you are unfamiliar with APA format, please go to the reference section of the library and utilize the APA Manual for Publications. Topics of consideration might include the following: Nurses' refusal to treat, staffing issues in nursing, opposition to the use of Stem Cells, mandatory reporting of abuse, access to healthcare, and reproductive rights.
