NBS, ODK preference
WESTAT
Started coordinating from DC, problems, only when we got there
Committed to ODK in the contract
- Good experience with paper
Helped with a SurveyCTO –based architecture
Advantages: Centralized architecture, Data accessible, avoided storing data on local computers
- Nice enumerators suggested
- Training = 2 paper + 2 capi
- Get approval from the chiefs of the villages, Muslim problem
Software dev – in parallel with the training
9 hh survey + 1 comm survey
Took longer in the beginnning and for the beneficiaries farmers who had lost of parcels
Data reshaping work, we ended up working on it ourselves
3 main factors that influence the format of the output data
- Coordination whole period: training, template dev and field work; pushed
- Future, important to partner with capable survey firms, but even then, close supervision crucial
