1. The document discusses farmer-managed seed enterprises in Mali called FARMSEM that were established to improve availability and use of seeds of new varieties of pearl millet and sorghum. 2. In 2013-2014, FARMSEM trained seed cooperatives in seed production, marketing, and management. They conducted variety trials and sold over 8,000 kg of certified seed locally. 3.
