2. Activities are essential in our
lives as a general source of
enjoyment, learning,
motivation and adding new
inspirations. I consider
diving to be my best activity
that I’ve recently been doing
to enjoy my weekend. Diving
has greatly impacted my
efficiency in doing my daily
jobs, which has reflected
positively in my work.
3. Diving is a simple, enjoyable and entertaining sport
activity. However, it contains a lot of details that you need
to know and do before you dive. Planning the dive itself is
the main core for a successful dive. The depth of the dive
and time is essential to avoid nitrogen toxicity and harming
yourself. Checking the available equipment resources, and
knowing how to use different models of oxygen air tanks
and breathing regulator, is another planning process that
contributes to the safety of the dive. Diving partners should
learn the importance of teamwork at all-time, especially in
case of underwater emergencies. Communicating with your
diving partner by signals, and understanding each other is a
must. Having a leader is also an important attribute for a
successful dive.
4. Diving isn’t a regular sport;
many risks are involved in it.
Exercising, learning, training
and development are the key
words to overcome these
risks. Risks may involve having
an empty tank underwater or
losing your mask or paddles.
Always be proactive and well
prepared. Conquering your
fears through different
adventures and discoveries in
every dive, contribute a lot in
building your self confidence.
5. The same rules of diving apply
to all life subjects. In business
it is said that, failing to plan
is planning to fail. It is of
great importance to manage
your resources and strictly
follow up with the plan.
Taking calculated risks and
learning from your failure is
another key to your road of
success. Time management is
the most important asset to
learn from diving.
6. Meeting new people from
different cultures and diving
together, is the best way to
enhance your communication
skills and learn more about
new cultures. Having to
collaborate and work as a
team, without knowing the
team members, is a great and
joyful experience. We all work
to achieve the same goal,
seeking the success of our
diving trip.
7. In diving the rules and
regulations of safety must
strictly be followed in order to
enjoy your diving and improve
your skills. It’s written by
respectful organizations like
PADI. These rules are based on
science researches and
experience gained through years
of diving. In business, following
the rules and regulations is a
must. Learning from the senior
colleagues experience enhances
your skills and helps in
improving your career ladder. In
order to lead, one must first
learn how to be lead.
8. Diving isn’t just an activity for
me. It’s a life learning
experience, where you always
discover new adventures. The
benefits I have gained from diving
are countless. Planning, managing
my time and resources, team
work and communication, as well
as following the rules, have all
had a great impact on my career
and personal development. Diving

positively and made me look into
my life with a different
perspective.
