GO-NGO Collaboration in HP (2010-2011) Implementing Agency:  PSI through VOs and Department of Agriculture Officers Operational Area:  (i) SRI -Wheat (6 districts namely Kangra, Mandi, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Una and Sirmaur, (ii) SRI-Paddy, Entire State) Physical Target:  Rabi 2010-11: 100 ha (3500 farmers) and Kharif 2011-12:620 ha (16,800 farmers)  Expected Outcome :  (i) Creation of a talent pool of about 800  resource persons including ADOs, SMSs, AEOs, KVK scientists, progressive village farmers and master trainers (ii)Formulation of a five year programme with the DoA, GoHP to  extend the SRI technique to an area of at least 30,000 ha  over the next five years.  (iii) Production growth  Financial Support:  RKVY  (2010-11 : Rs. 26,22,845; 2011-12 : Rs. 96,47,345) February 2011

GO-NGO Collaboration in HP (2010-2011) Implementing Agency: PSI through VOs and Department of Agriculture Officers Operational Area: (i) SRI -Wheat (6 districts namely Kangra, Mandi, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Una and Sirmaur, (ii) SRI-Paddy, Entire State) Physical Target: Rabi 2010-11: 100 ha (3500 farmers) and Kharif 2011-12:620 ha (16,800 farmers) Expected Outcome : (i) Creation of a talent pool of about 800 resource persons including ADOs, SMSs, AEOs, KVK scientists, progressive village farmers and master trainers (ii)Formulation of a five year programme with the DoA, GoHP to extend the SRI technique to an area of at least 30,000 ha over the next five years.
