4. Exclude keywords.
By eliminating irrelevant words or phrases, you
will be able to narrow down your search. Add a
subtraction sign, no space and a word or phrase
that appears in many of your results.

narrow down your results to just that particular

By adding a date range you can search for the
most current information. Type year..year for the

If a specific format is desired for your

all results will be in that format.

10. Select address bar (short
cut)
After scanning your search results you can
refine those results by selected the address bar
quickly without scrolling back to the top of the
page.
11. High light key words
(short cut)
By high lighting keywords when looking at any
web site or document you can make keywords
stand out and eliminate scanning the entire
document or site for information.
12. Zoom in or out (short cut)
To increase or decease the size of print for
easier reading zoom in or out.
13. Screen shot (short cut)
Take a picture of anything on your screen either
by taking a screen shot of the entire screen or
capture the exact area on your screen by making
a box around it. The screen shot will than be
saved to you desktop.
14. Screen shot of high lighted
key words on a website.
There were over 70 file types in the following list proved by
http://www.cometdocs.com/blog/an-ultimate-list-of-
document-file-formats. I was able to high light all file formats
for Microsoft.
15. Overview
Be specific, eliminate words.
Limit search by site, date, or file type.
Use short cuts to quickly scan results by high
lighting.
Take a picture to reference later.
