2. HIV, also known as the human immunodeficiency virus is a
disease that is passed from one person to another by
exchange of body fluids.
HIV damages the body’s immune
system and the body becomes more
capable to infections.
The most common way to spread HIV is through
sexual contact.

3. HIV was discovered in the early 1980’s. A group of gay men
suddenly started to develop rare infections and cancer that
didn’t seem to be curing with any type of medication.
Scientist believe that HIV is the descendant of the Simian
Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV). SIV is a lent virus that is found
in animals like monkeys.

5. HIV have affected all types of
people throughout the whole
world. As of today there is still no
cure for HIV.
Many people who have HIV do
not speak up to their partners
when they encounter sexual
activities. Therefore, another
person is added to the list of HIV
positive.
A lot of new born babies also
suffer from HIV because it was
passed down by their mother. A
lot of people around the world
are dying.

6. People today should take
action and get tested if they
are diagnosed with HIV. If
people don’t get tested then
the amount of people
suffering from it would go
from 38,000,000 to about
50,000,000 in the next year.
People should also donate to
the people who are affected
with HIV. Most people who
are affected are poor so they
can’t pay for their treatment.
