Presentation is based on psychologist Richard Wiseman's book 'The Luck Factor' where he reveals the four psychological principles behind a lucky life, and scientific studies showing how they they can be used to maximize good fortune.
can be used to maximize good fortune.
2. It’s not some mystical
occurrence that only a
few people have...
3. Believe it or not, luck
is an easily learned
skill...
4. Ten years ago, a
researcher set
out to
investigate
luck—both good
and bad luck...
Dr. Richard Wiseman
is a psychologist at the
University of Hertfordshire
8. He modeled what lucky
people think and do to create
their luck...
9. And decided to teach
unlucky people
“lucky
thoughts and
lucky
behaviors.”
10. He created a class for unlucky people...
It was called
“Luck School”
11. A group of volunteers spend a month
doing exercises designed to help
them to think and behave like
a lucky person...
12. These exercises helped them:
⇨ expect good luck
⇨ improve recognizing
chance opportunities
⇨ listen to their intuition
⇨ follow their hunches
⇨ rebound quickly when bad luck
did hit.
13. One month later, the
volunteers returned
and described what
had happened....
14. The results were
dramatic: 80 % of people
were now happier, more
satisfied with their lives
and, perhaps most
important of all, luckier!
15. So, if you want to increase
your luck and good fortune...
