Introductions
This Assignment will examine the main purpose of noise pollution. Nosie pollution
is a very annoying aspect around us. Although we can’t get rid of it we can reduce
the noise level it’s projected.
Important information was found during doing the project such as factors of
noise pollution also how it effects persons living with or around this type of
pollution.
The main reasons for taking part in this project was to get a better
understanding of noise pollution and to find a solution to unwanted Nosie, to gain a
good score for the researcher’s exams to be written in June, 2015 ns most of all to
gain firsthand experience I doing a project which will greatly assist her in any future
exercise.

Interruption of Data Collected By Graphics
Graph (1) which is a bar graph illustrates the sources of noise pollution in my
community. The x axis illustrates the sources of the main cause of noise pollution
in their community, while the y axis illustrates the number respondents.
The highest bar on the graph is the one which most people said to be the
greatest source of noise, Music systems, this may be because, in that area people
love to party or like to play music every day. The second lowest bar is vehicles, this
may be due to living next to a busy road. Then the two last bars are machinery and
Annocement equipment’s, they are chosen but not at a high rate, this may be
cause they don’t affect that much of people.

Graph (2)
Graph (2) is another bar graph that illustrates the effect of noise on people. The x
axis illustrates the effects that noise has on the people in my community. Whereby
the y axis illustrates the number of respondents for each of the effect.
The Highest bar illustrates that Difficulty in sleep is a major effect cause
maybe when someone is trying to sleep, something or someone is disturbing them,
For the nest two bars, they are the same cause may be these two effects don’t
really have that much of impact on people or don’t really seen as a major effect on
people.

Graph (3)
Graph (3) illustrates a pie chart which illustrates the ways to reduce noise pollution. All the
numbers that are show are the quantity of people that select that opinion, there are two
sections that are equal to the same amount this may be because these respondents think
that is the best solution for themselves and the other around them, the last two sections
are slight but different from each other the reason why mm people select these are than
glass windows are really expensive to buy and some people don’t really pay a fee if the
law ask them too.

Page | 19 Recommendations Based On the Findings
The researcher recommendation on her finding are:
Since a lot of people are complaining that noise is too much for them when they
need to take a rest/sleep, in each community there should be strict laws to ensure
that noise at certain hours are not being a problem and if any one breaks these
rules payment of fine should be given on spot to the law or person in charge.
Secondly at all construction sites workers should wear plugs, cause the
Nosie form machinery can cause damage to you hearing, also when there will be a
construction site in place, all villagers that will living nearby and that will be effected
will be advise to wear these ear plugs at all times until the noise level had dropped.

Rohee notes upsurge in noise nuisance complaints
May 29, 2013 By GuyanaTimes
Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee said he has noted the upsurge in
complaints of noise nuisance by residents of various parts of the country and has
assured that the law will be applied where necessary.
The Home Affairs Ministry in a statement assured residents who take the
initiative to report the loud, continuous and repetitive playing of music to the
ministry, that all reports are forwarded to the police commissioner and copied to
the respective divisional commanders with a directive that corrective action be
taken in keeping with the laws of Guyana.
Citizens who make such reports are assured that their reports are treated
with the utmost importance and urgency. The ministry abhors the discomfort
experienced by citizens due to the loud, continuous and repetitive playing of music
by offenders. It is to be noted that it is the responsibility of the Guyana Police
Force to enforce the law against noise nuisance, particularly when reports are
made at police stations.
