Gamification strategies that can be introduced in the workplace include allowing employees to progress to different levels and earn points or scores based on their performance. These strategies provide real-time feedback, use of progress bars and activity feeds to motivate employees. Leaderboards, badges, and rewards can also be used to recognize accomplishments and encourage competition or teamwork among employees. The use of gamification is expected to grow significantly in business training and employee motivation programs by 2018.
