The God of muslims is Allah, Muhammad is your prophet and your book is The
Quran.
There are two types of Muslims – Shi’ite and Sunni.
They believe in:
*The life after death and the person during his life can shape their soul for better or
worse.
*Also, muslims believe there in the Day of judgment by Allah (God) until then, the
deceased remain in their graves.
*And they belief in pre-destination.
PREPARING
- Muslims should be prepared for death at any time, which is why daily prayers are
so important.
- When a person die, his face should be look to Mecca. And, family members and
elders recite Muslim scripture of the Quran and pray for this person.

15. **The ritual consists of the washing of the corpse, the religious ceremony (adoration and funeral honors)
and the burial.
AT THE TIME OF death
• His eyes will be closed and the body is laid out with their arms across their chest and head facing Mecca.
• The body will be washed by family or friends. Male staff should handle male patients, female with female
patients
• It will be wrapped in a White shroud and prayers will be said.
FUNERAL
The body will be buried within 24 hours as Muslims believe the soul leaves the body at the moment of death.
-The funeral will take place either at the graveside and involve prayer and readings from the Koran.
BURIAL
• The woman can´t go to the cemetery.
• A prayer will be recited before the burial.
• Excessive demonstrations of grief are not allowed.
• The grave will usually be simple.
AFTER
• For three days the visitors gived special meal.
• Mourning period is 40 days long.
• Family only wears black clothing
• Dress code is Men No head cover and Women  Cover arms and legs.
