2. Characteristics
Totalitarianism is very contro"ing.
It is ruled by dictators.
Communication is limited because of this.
It is a very demanding way of government.
3. Fascism
Fascism is a social government that is
based off of Nationalism.
Fascism is different $om Communism
because Fascism is based off a central
authority and Communism advocates
co"ective ownership of property.
4. Communism
Stalin created 5 year plans that were
nearly impossible. These plans were used
in co"ectivization and everyone who
didn’t accomplish these was imprisoned.
Trotsky was murdered because Stalin
thought that he was too popular and
Stalin didn’t want anyone to affect his
rule. Stalin’s Great Purges consisted of
ki"ing everybody who posed as a threat
to him.
5. Hitler
The Beer Ha" Putsch was said to be the
beginning of the Nazi’s because they opposed
the Weimar Republic and wanted to overthrow
them. While Hitler was imprisoned, he wrote a
book ca"ed Mein Kampf. This was a story
about his stru(les. When he was released he
had his SS set fire to the Reichtag building. And
when the government was weak they named
Hitler Chance"or.
