How did you attract/address your
audience?

Front cover
- The straplines provide insight to features inside the magazine this will draw in my
audience
- The colours I have used maintain a theme and complement the image but also symbolise
purity (white), jealousy (green) and rebellion
- The masthead is the same colour as my models top which draws attention to her
- Very small amounts of writing but draw attention through the style of the layout
- I have used two fonts to diversify the page and make it more interesting but not complex
- My model is centred and dominates the page which attracts my audience
Contents
- I have chosen only one main image which captivates and pulls in the reader
- I have written small quotes and teasers under each heading
- I chose an old contemporary style font which will appeal to my audience as they enjoy the
vintage style
- I have continued the white and black colour scheme to dominate the contents page
- I have made the headings bold which enable the reader to identify the headings from the
text
- I have featured popular bands whose tour dates are revealed inside to persuades the
Double-page spread
- Both pages were covered by one image which was brightly coloured to draw in and excite
my audience
- The model dominates one page as I used the rule of thirds which may attract the reader
- I placed my text in the centre wrapped around a feature near my model so that my model
will draw attention to the text
- I used an introduction paragraph to capture the reader's attention
- The heading stands out through stylishly matching the colour of the guitar
- The heading is vertical against the left side of the page which may appeal to my audience
