  • 6. You have to go to jail The judge said to go to jail This is IMPERATIVE DIRECT SPEECH.
  • 7. You have to go to jail The judge said to go to jail This is IMPERATIVE DIRECT SPEECH. This is IMPERATIVE INDIRECT SPEECH.
  • 9. IMPERATIVE INDIRECT SPEECH. IMPERATIVE DIRECT SPEECH. The judge said, “You have to go to jail”. The judge said to go to jail. The DIRECT SPEECH uses the EXACT SAME WORDS BETWEEN QUOTES (“ “).
