James and the giant peach

1. James and the
Giant PeachRoald Dahl, 1961

2. Our story begins with a boy named James, his two mean and ugly aunts, and a
little peach tree.

3. One day, James was working outside and a stranger gave James a bag of magic
beans.

4. James was so excited, he dropped the beans by accident beside the
peach tree. The peach began to grow… and grow… and grow!

5. That night, James climbed inside the giant peach and saw giant talking insects
living there.

6. James and his new friends decided to leave his aunts´ garden. They rolled the
peach through the town and off of a cliff!

7. The peach rolled into the sea, with many sharks. James caught 100 seagulls to
fly the peach away into the sky.

8. In the air, James and his friends were happy and had lots of fun joking and
playing together.

9. Suddenly, the peach crashed into a rainbow in the clouds!

10. After the crash, James saw something in the distance: the skyscrapers of New
York City!

11. The peach landed at the top of the Empire State Building. The people below
thought it was from Mars!

12. James and his insect friends came down from the top of the building and
celebrated the delicious peach with all of New York City.

13. James has been living happily in the peach pit with his insect friends Central
Park ever since.
