Cette communication, donnée lors de la "IIe Conférence internationale sur le Genre & la Communication" (Séville, 1-3 avril 2014), se concentre sur les disparités de représentation entre femmes et hommes observées dans les médias par plusieurs enquêtes menées par le Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA). Il recherche à comprendre comment les représentations des femmes et des hommes évolue avec l’âge des intervenants en télévision. Des résultats encourageants ont émergés : avec les jeunes, il y a une tendance claire vers plus d’égalité de représentation entre femmes et hommes tandis que pour les plus âgés, les femmes souffrent de plus en plus d’égalité lorsque leur âge augmente. Cette communication tente d’identifier les facteurs expliquant la relation entre "générations" et représentations femmes-hommes en utilisant des indicateurs quantitatifs et qualitatifs.
