WhaT’s CaTalONIa pUNTa Del Rey?:
It is a hotel situated in the village of Candelaria, near our high-
school, IES Santa Ana. It’s in Tenerife, the Canary Islands, Spain.
It’s a vacational hotel of medium class. It’s from the chain:
“Catalonian hotels”.

3. hIsTORy:
The hotel was built in 1972.
In 1974 a pair of brothers from Catalonia (north of Spain), bought
it and make it a hotel.
In 1974 it was opened.
In 2006 the rooms and the bathrooms were rebuilt.

4. Catalonia Punta del Rey has 437
rooms.
300 rooms, are standard rooms.
They are smaller than the medium
class, but they are the chepeast
rooms.
90 rooms, are medium class. They
are more expensive than the
standard rooms. They have got views
to the swimming pool or the beach.
47 rooms are premium rooms. They
are the biggest rooms and the most
expensive rooms. They have got
views to the swimming pool and the
beach.
5. The hoTel has:
The hotel has a Little gym, they
want to build a new one in the near
future.
It also has a sauna and massage
room (additional costs).
A hair-salon, with all services.
A swimming pool and two Jacuzzis.
A tennis court, mini-golf and
squash courts.

A buffet: it is used for all three meals
of the day; breakfast, lunch and
dinner.
A restaurant: it has an additional
cost. On Thursday night customers
may enjoy Italian food.
A bar hall: it usually opens until 2.00
am.
A show bar: The show bar usually
opens at nights for entertainment.

The hotel provides:
Their staff who speaks Spanish, English, French, German and Italian. But,
they want to learn much more.

Although Candelaria is a quiet are one person works always as a security
guard at night in the hotel.
