GRIHA – GREEN RATING FOR INTEGRATED HABITAT ASSESSMENT • GRIHA is developed by TERI (The energy and resources Institute) for the ministry of new and Renewable energy. This is the indigenous national rating system developed by the ministry to cover the climatic variations, architectural practices, existing practices of construction and attempting to revive the passive architecture. • GRIHA rating system takes into account the provisions of the National Building Codes 2005 , The energy conservation Building Code 2007 announced by BEE and other IS codes • The rating system based on accepted energy and environmental principles, seeks to strike a balance between the established practices and emerging concepts, both national and international . • GRIHA MEANING:GRIHA is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘Abode’. GRIHA promotes passive techniques to reduce energy cost while keeping the optimum thermal comfort inside the build environment. CONTENTS 1.BACKGROUND 2. GOALS AND NEED OF GREEN BUILDING 3. BENEFITS OF GREEN BUILDING 4. INTRODUCTION OF GRIHA 5. EVOLUTION OF GRIHA 6. OBJECTIVES OF GRIHA 7. WHY CHOOSE GRIHA (COMPARE WITH LEED INDIA) 8. FIVE ‘R’ PHILOSOPHY 9. GRIHA PROCEDURE 10. The safe reuse of wastewater for agricultural purposes is showing higher crop yields and reducing the amount of pollutants in wastewater by 30-92%. The reuse of treated wastewater to irrigate fields has shown increased yields of up to 40% in vegetables such as okra, brinjal and chilly as compared to those irrigated by fresh water.

Decentralized STPs are a fairly new trend that many have not caught onto yet. However, it is clear that this method can make great contributions to the conservation of water and in better quality treated wastewater. We’re open to all kinds of questions and opinions on this subject for those interested to discuss this further with us. So feel free to send us an email and we will respond accordingly! - www.bgwaterfilter.com

WASTE water treatment project........ Wastewater treatment is a process used to convert dirty wastewater into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with minimum impact on the environment, or directly reused. The latter is called water reclamation because treated wastewater can then be used for other purposes. The treatment process takes place in a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), often referred to as a Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) or a sewage treatment plant. Pollutants in municipal wastewater (households and small industries) are removed or broken down. The treatment of wastewater is part of the overarching field of sanitation. Sanitation also includes the management of human waste and solid waste as well as stormwater (drainage) management.[1] By-products from wastewater treatment plants, such as screenings, grit and sewage sludge may also be treated in a wastewater treatment plant.[2]:Ch.14

We present an architecture of embedding models, vector databases, LLMs, and narrow ML for tracking global news narratives across a variety of countries/languages/news sources. As an example, we explore the real-time application of this architecture for tracking the news narrative surrounding the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny coming from Russian, French, and English sources.

Created by Mozilla Research in 2012 and now part of Linux Foundation Europe, the Servo project is an experimental rendering engine written in Rust. It combines memory safety and concurrency to create an independent, modular, and embeddable rendering engine that adheres to web standards. Stewardship of Servo moved from Mozilla Research to the Linux Foundation in 2020, where its mission remains unchanged. After some slow years, in 2023 there has been renewed activity on the project, with a roadmap now focused on improving the engine’s CSS 2 conformance, exploring Android support, and making Servo a practical embeddable rendering engine. In this presentation, Rakhi Sharma reviews the status of the project, our recent developments in 2023, our collaboration with Tauri to make Servo an easy-to-use embeddable rendering engine, and our plans for the future to make Servo an alternative web rendering engine for the embedded devices industry. Corporate and higher education. Two industries that, in the past, have had a clear divide with very little crossover. The difference in goals, learning styles and objectives paved the way for differing learning technologies platforms to evolve. Now, those stark lines are blurring as both sides are discovering they have content that’s relevant to the other. Join Tammy Rutherford as she walks through the pros and cons of corporate and higher ed collaborating. And the challenges of these different technology platforms working together for a brighter future.

Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/why-teams-call-analytics-is-critical-to-your-entire-business Nothing is as frustrating and noticeable as being in an important call and being unable to see or hear the other person. Not surprising then, that issues with Teams calls are among the most common problems users call their helpdesk for. Having in depth insight into everything relevant going on at the user’s device, local network, ISP and Microsoft itself during the call is crucial for good Microsoft Teams Call quality support. To ensure a quick and adequate solution and to ensure your users get the most out of their Microsoft 365. But did you know that ‘bad calls’ are also an excellent indicator of other problems arising? Precisely because it is so noticeable!? Like the canary in the mine, bad calls can be early indicators of problems. Problems that might otherwise not have been noticed for a while but can have a big impact on productivity and satisfaction. Join this session by Christoph Adler to learn how true Microsoft Teams call quality analytics helped other organizations troubleshoot bad calls and identify and fix problems that impacted Teams calls or the use of Microsoft365 in general. See what it can do to keep your users happy and productive! In this session we will cover - Why CQD data alone is not enough to troubleshoot call problems - The importance of attributing call problems to the right call participant - What call quality analytics can do to help you quickly find, fix-, and prevent problems - Why having retrospective detailed insights matters - Real life examples of how others have used Microsoft Teams call quality monitoring to problem shoot problems with their ISP, network, device health and more.
