We, as teacher in pre-service, need to know that professional development is important.
A teacher never stops learning and it is necessary to remember that we teach but we also
learn everyday. Teachers should be committed if they want to be upgrated in their
profession. Therefore, learning about action researchers and that investigating in your
own classroom is possible was useful. Moreover, studying the similarities and
comparisons of different authors was important to learn what is needed to be a good
language teacher.
Moreover, teachers need to understand that learning how to be a good teacher is a long
process which requires an active participation, setting goals, taking risks, and learn that
having your degree is not enough but it is necessary to keep improving your
performance.
