I am a physician executive who conceives and implements progressive, effective changes for the evolving health
care environment. In addition to transforming and managing a large multispecialty medical practice, I have
managed administration and operations through a successful turnaround for a nonprofit hospital. I also have
directed graduate medical education programs.

addition to its 250,000 square foot main campus, the Group has satellite more than 20 satellite offices in 5
counties. It employs more than 300 practitioners and 1300 employees who support 72 specialties. The practice
serves and manages more than 200,000 patients with 75,000 unique patient visits each month. It has an annual
revenue of more than $300 million.
Responsibilities include
Planning, implementing, and overseeing clinical strategy, with direct profit/loss responsibility
Ensuring growth through new programs, services, acquisitions, and geographic expansion
Building an infrastructure that accommodates the organization’s rapid growth
Developing robust population health and resource utilization programs
Managing patient safety and professional risk
Working with payors, brokers, and large employers to develop high-quality, affordable health care

Developed a comprehensive Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Program that
Includes on-site care at several adult living, nursing home, and rehab facilities
Provides in-hospital consultation, ambulatory geriatric assessments, and home visits

and admissions, and improved overall accountability for our growing senior population and those
receiving inpatient rehabilitation
Led the acquisition and successful integration of a large multisite 28-provider primary care group that

Encompasses a 10,000-patient highly functioning Patient-centered Medical Home (PCMH)
Significantly enhanced market share, competitive advantage, and negotiating leverage
Opened an integrated Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy Center that
Provides in-network adult and pediatric counseling and psychiatric consultation services
Has grown to 15 providers averaging more than 1100 visits and 110 new patients per month
Opened a Nationally Certified Multidisciplinary Breast Center of Excellence that has
Markedly improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
Significantly increased patient visits and patient retention
Transitioned and redesigned a contracted Hospitalist Program that
Markedly improved patient and referring physician satisfaction while operating at a profit
Has achieved the lowest average length of stay, adjusted cost per case, and readmission rate compared
with the local market and has earned the highest national benchmarks, lowering costs by $50 million in 3
