2. 2
Proverbs 12:7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not:
but the house of the righteous shall stand.
Psalm 37 1 Fret not thyself because of
evildoers, neither be thou envious against the
workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut
down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Those who follow their own
way may gain success for a
time, but in the end they
lose it all.
3. 3
Psalm 37 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so
shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt
be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He
shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit
thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He
shall bring it to pass.
God’s Blessings
One who trusts the Lord does everything His Way.
And he delights himself in God’s Way.
Total Commitment!
4. 4
Are you committed to serving the Lord?
Are you a faithful servant of the Lord God?
Deuteronomy 7 9 Know therefore that the LORD
thy God, He is God, the faithful God, Which
keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love
Him and keep His Commandments to a thousand
generations;
Our God is worthy to be served –
no matter what it costs.
5. 5
8 A man shall be commended according to his
wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be
despised.
(TLB) 8 Everyone admires a man with good
sense, but a man with a warped mind is despised.
A warped mind refuses to think straight.

6. 6
9 He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better
than he that honoreth himself, and lacketh bread.
(TLB) 9 It is better to get your hands dirty -- and
eat, than to be too proud to work -- and starve.
All honest work is honorable.
We can’t all be
But we can all be productive and
earn a living for our family.
We can build a reputation for being
a dependable, smart, hard worker,
and advance to better jobs.
7. 7
If you have spent your life earning a reputation as a
poor employee, you have to change that.
Take any job you can get.
Fill out applications.
Work enthusiastically.
Be willing to do any task,
and do it well.
Control your temper in all situations, and be
submissive to all authority.
You can rebuild your reputation.
Be early to work each day.
8. 8
10 A righteous man regardeth
the life of his beast: but the
tender mercies of the
wicked are cruel.
A very wicked man is cruel
to animals.
He even thinks it is funny.
A good man is kind, gentle, merciful --
Even to animals.
9. 9
11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with
bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of
understanding.

10. 10
12 The wicked desireth the net (what is caught in
the net) of evil men: but the root of the righteous
yieldeth fruit.
Sinners see other sinners prosper and are envious.
But that prosperity is short-lived; it is at best in
this life only.
The righteous are like a plant whose root reaches
down to everlasting water and flourishes.
11. 11
Psalm 1 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of
sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But
his delight is in the Law of the LORD; and in His
Law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall
be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also
shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall
prosper.
Let each of us be that man, starting right now.
12. 12
Psalm 1 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the
chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the
ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For
the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but
the way of the ungodly shall perish.
