10. THE LAW OF SUCCESS, Napoleon Hil
In 1928 Hill’s book was
published in 8 volumes.
Each volume
contained 2 laws as
described following:
11. a definite chief aim
#1
We need to set an objective before we can achieve it.
Not having a solid aim to focus on can not possibly get
us to it. we have to know what we want so that we can
start receiving it.
12. master mind
#2
Telepathy, ether, vibration are the basis for how the
world functions. A Master Mind is the alliance of minds
joining in a harmonious way. The power that is formed
from two or more minds coming together is more
powerful than one alone. This is strictly for minds who
trust each other and are interested in the good success
of all parties involved.
13. self-confidence
#3
Believe that we are worth of success and that we can
attain it. Without this simples understanding - truly
understanding it - we will probably get nowhere with
most of our goals. If we are not confident, then we can
not sell ourselves in life.
14. the habit of saving
#4
Stop trying to get more than we can afford. Don’t waste
anything in life.
15. initiative and leadership
#5
Address the importance of leadership skills. Yes, they
can be habituated and we do not have to be a born
leader. It is only “genius" that attracts the attention of
critics. Nobody bothers slandering a person who is not
some where near the upper rings of the ladder of
success.
16. imagination
#6
Dream, and use our imagination to help lead us to the
attainment of our goals. The making good decision
comes with use, and our intuition will always lead us
toward our dream. Dreams and actions are closely
related.
17. enthusiasm
#7
Compels us to act. Mix enthusiasm with our work - do
something we are enthusiastic about - and we will not
get tired nearly as quickly. If we look like a million bucks,
we’ll feel like a million bucks, and we will likely find
ourselves around a million bucks feel good about our
appearance.
18. self-control
#8
Auto-suggestion is like reprogramming our
subconscious mind to believe what we want it to believe
- to replace our old beliefs with new ones that will serve
us better. When we take control over the thoughts we
are thinking, then we can take control of our success.
19. habit of doing more
than paid for
#9
Do the work we have in front of us, than ask what else
we may do. By doing this we make ourselves valuable
and we will surely reach a point where we are being
paid handsomely.
20. pleasing personality
#10
Have one. Do not point things out on people. Do not
hang our head and say “we are tired”. Mediocrity does
not care if we are pleasant or not. Success does.
22. concentration
#12
Is the act of focusing the mind upon a given desire until
ways and means for its realisation have been worked out
and successfully put into operation.
23. co-operation
#13
The implementing of cooperation between we and
others who are going to help us to get to our goal. The
top of the ladder success is never lonely because we
can not help bringing others with us. Cooperation must
also exist between our conscious and sub-conscious
mind so that they may work harmoniously in our favor.
24. failure
#14
Yes. Fail and be happy that it is bringing us one step
closer to success. Failure is inevitable, and it is a great
step towards the right direction. Replace “failure" with
“temporary defeat”. Never make the same mistakes,
never fails as the same way as before. Take advantages
of failure in order to pave the way to success.
25. tolerance
#15
Do not practice prejudice or racism. It is ignorance, and
it is barrier to success just see the best in people and
situation, and focus only on our goal and the good for
all.
26. the golden rule
#16
Do unto other as we wish them to do unto us. Think of
others as we wish them to think of us.
27. in sum
#1 A DEFINITE AIM
#2 MASTER MIND
#3 SELF-CONFIDENCE
#4 THE HABIT OF SAVING
#5 INITIATIVE AND
LEADERSHIP
#6 IMAGINATION
#7 ENTHUSIASM
#8 SELF-CONTROL
#9 HABIT OF DOING MORE
THAN PAID FOR
#10 PLEASING PERSONALITY
#11 ACCURATE THOUGHT
#12 CONCENTRATION
#13 CO-OPERATION
#14 FAILURE
#15 TOLERANCE
#16 THE GOLDEN RULE
28. To think over
According to Napoleon Hill’s research, only 3% to 5% of
people achieve success in life.
Which philosophy of life
have you adopted?
