Where are we?.  We are in Badalona and our high school is located at letter A
And where is Badalona respect Barcelona? Area : Barcelonès Province : Barcelona Autonomous region : Catalunya (Catalonia) Badalona is the third town of Catalonia in number of inhabitants Nowadays Badalona has more than 210.000 residents Badalona has 34 neighbourhoods.  We are in La Salut neighbourhood Our school

Characteristics of our school 69 teachers 750 students building adapted for disabled people Facilities: Computer , Tecnology, Language, Music, Audiovisual and Drawing classrooms, Science Laboratories,  Gymnasium,  Library, Main lecture theater  and snack bar
What kind of courses we do?? Educació Secundària Obligatòria (ESO): secondary education with four levels: first, second, third and fourth level (for children from 12 to 16 years old) Cicles Formatius d´Estètica ( Personal Image) : Grau Mig i Superior ( Formative cycle of average and top degree) (for people from 16 to any age) BATXILLERAT (Post obligatory) (for people from 16 to 18 years old).  We have four modalities: . Scientist  . Social · Humanities ·Technological
School’s Timetable 30 hours/week.  3 afternoons/week:  Monday, Tuesday and  Thursday entrances:  Mornings    8:30 h.  Afternoons    3:30 pm Exits:  Mornings    2:00 pm  Afternoons    5:30  pm Breaktime for the first level of ESO: 10:30 to 11:00 hours Breaktime for the rest of the students: 11:30 to 12:00 hours
ORGANIZATION OF OUR HIGH SCHOOL  (COURSE 2010-11)  GROUPS We have 120 students in 4 groups for each level (each group has 30 students).  But we have some diversity hours that we use to create a new group at first level of ESO and other one at second level of ESO.  With this decision the ratio of the groups at first and second course of ESO are not 30 students.  In these groups there are about 23 – 24 students for group).  In the rest of the levels the numbers of students for classroom are different.  It depends on the course organization: 1r ESO There are 5 groups with 23-24 students by group All the groups are heterogeneous To create the groups there are a lot of meetings with the teachers of  the primary schools (there are a lot of information transfer between the primary school and the new teachers of the new students).  The students with some kind of difficulty are followed by our phsyco-paedagogue. 2n ESO There are 5 groups with 23-24 students by group There is a group (the name is 2nA) that they have curricular adaptation. The rest of the groups  (B, C and D) are heterogeneous.
3r ESO · 1 grup (A) with curricular adaptation and the number of students are smaller than the rest  of the classrooms · 3 grups (B ,C i D) heterogeneous 4t ESO · 1 group (A).Aula Oberta. The students participate at Projecte Futur · 1 group (B) with curricular adaptation and the number of students are smaller than the rest  of the classrooms  · 2 groups ( C i D) heterogeneous Batxillerat Two groups at first level and other two groups at second.level  The distribution of the two classrooms are social and humanities together and scientist and technological together too.

  • 2. Where are we?. We are in Badalona and our high school is located at letter A
  • 3. And where is Badalona respect Barcelona? Area : Barcelonès Province : Barcelona Autonomous region : Catalunya (Catalonia) Badalona is the third town of Catalonia in number of inhabitants Nowadays Badalona has more than 210.000 residents Badalona has 34 neighbourhoods. We are in La Salut neighbourhood Our school
  • 5. Characteristics of our school 69 teachers 750 students building adapted for disabled people Facilities: Computer , Tecnology, Language, Music, Audiovisual and Drawing classrooms, Science Laboratories, Gymnasium, Library, Main lecture theater and snack bar
  • 6. What kind of courses we do?? Educació Secundària Obligatòria (ESO): secondary education with four levels: first, second, third and fourth level (for children from 12 to 16 years old) Cicles Formatius d´Estètica ( Personal Image) : Grau Mig i Superior ( Formative cycle of average and top degree) (for people from 16 to any age) BATXILLERAT (Post obligatory) (for people from 16 to 18 years old).   • 7. School’s Timetable 30 hours/week. 3 afternoons/week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday entrances: Mornings  8:30 h. Afternoons  3:30 pm Exits: Mornings  2:00 pm Afternoons  5:30 pm Breaktime for the first level of ESO: 10:30 to 11:00 hours Breaktime for the rest of the students: 11:30 to 12:00 hours
  • 8. ORGANIZATION OF OUR HIGH SCHOOL (COURSE 2010-11) GROUPS We have 120 students in 4 groups for each level (each group has 30 students). But we have some diversity hours that we use to create a new group at first level of ESO and other one at second level of ESO. With this decision the ratio of the groups at first and second course of ESO are not 30 students. In these groups there are about 23 – 24 students for group). In the rest of the levels the numbers of students for classroom are different. It depends on the course organization: 1r ESO There are 5 groups with 23-24 students by group All the groups are heterogeneous To create the groups there are a lot of meetings with the teachers of the primary schools (there are a lot of information transfer between the primary school and the new teachers of the new students). The students with some kind of difficulty are followed by our phsyco-paedagogue. 2n ESO There are 5 groups with 23-24 students by group There is a group (the name is 2nA) that they have curricular adaptation. The rest of the groups (B, C and D) are heterogeneous.

The students participate at Projecte Futur · 1 group (B) with curricular adaptation and the number of students are smaller than the rest of the classrooms · 2 groups ( C i D) heterogeneous Batxillerat Two groups at first level and other two groups at second.level The distribution of the two classrooms are social and humanities together and scientist and technological together too.
