The cost of education in Haiti is very high and for the most part is highly inaccessible to the average Haitian. Due to weak state provision of educational services, private and parochial schools account for about 90% of primary schools. Even though Haitians place a high value on education, few can afford to send their children to school. In Haiti’s overall development, education remains a key obstacle to economic and social advancement. The Hope for Kidz program provides HOPE today for Haiti’s tomorrow!

Earlier this year, he and his brother Michael Omidi, MD founded the charity No More Poverty. The organization seeks to end poverty at home and abroad by supporting the efforts of like-minded charities and agencies. Current efforts are focused on increasing awareness of and donations to charities already doing great work to address poverty and its staggering effects throughout the world.
