Primary Task Response:
Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that
respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas,
and comments. This will be the foundation for future
discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and
use examples to reinforce your ideas:
Should there be mandatory incarceration for chronic juvenile
offenders? Why or why not?
Remember,
mandatory incarceration
in this context refers to placement in a juvenile detention
center, not a prison.
Do you think that this would this help curb continuing
maladaptive behavior? Why or why not?
When do you think a court should be lenient toward a chronic
juvenile offender? Explain.
