2. Prevent Mold
Prevent Mold in the First Place:
• Keep the humidity level in your home between 40% and 60%.
• Use an air conditioner or a dehumidifier during humid months
• Make sure your clothes dryer vents outside your home.
• Fix any leaks in your home’s roof, walls, or plumbing so mold
does not have a moisture source to grow.
• Clean bathrooms and other damp areas with mold-prevention
products like Ultra 7.
3. Clean Mold Out of Clothing
FOR LAUNDRY: Add 1 cup, or 8 oz. of Ultra 7 to rinse cycle.
(Do NOT add detergent.) Dry in appropriate drying cycle as
directed on clothing label. Reapply every 20 washes.
Spray: Clean items prior to application. Shake well. Using
trigger pump sprayer or pressure sprayer, spray entire
surface area 4 to 6 inches from the surface making sure the
surface is completely covered. Let stand until dry or dry
under the appropriate heat setting for the fabrics being
treated. If spotting occurs, wipe with moist cloth or sponge.
Test for staining and color-fastness of fabric by treating and
drying a small concealed area prior to application.
