CEDAC is a nationwide organization in Burundi that has helped over 25,000 victims of war over the past 10 years, including widows, ex-combatants, child soldiers, and people with disabilities. CEDAC works at the national, provincial, and communal levels to reduce armed violence and assist victims of war while facing challenges like high illiteracy, a weak economy, and lack of financial support.

1. CEDAC is an apolitical organization working to help
victims/survivors of war in Burundi. (for ten years of its creation,
we have already helped almost 25 000 beneficiaries made by
widows, ex-combatants,child soldiers,people with disability and
other member of community in situation of assistance)

11.  High rate of illiteracy among beneficiaries

12.  The integration of Burundi in the East African Community (EAC), Economic
Community of the Great Lake (CEGLIE), the Economic Community of Central
African States (ECCAS) will help to revive the economy through foreign
investment in various fields, market expansion and the opening of the country for
other opportunities.
 The potential development of non-agricultural sector (crafts, tourism, light
industry and services)
