Think (Evaluate)- How successful is my final advert? … The final part of this assignment is to produce
a brief evaluation of your own advertisement for ‘Streets’ trainers. The focus of this is to show that
you know why and understand how you have used media language in the creation of your advert
and how it will appeal to your target audience.

  • 1. Think (Evaluate)- How successful is my final advert? … The final part of this assignment is to produce a brief evaluation of your own advertisement for ‘Streets’ trainers. The focus of this is to show that you know why and understand how you have used media language in the creation of your advert and how it will appeal to your target audience. 1. What main and secondary images did I use, why and how effective do I believe it to be? 6. how successful is my final advert in making it obvious what is/are the USP of the trainers and reflect the results of my audience survey 5. how successful is my final advert in reflecting/appealing to my target audience’s profile and their needs? If I used social media, why? 4. What page design/layout and font style did I use, why and how satisfied am I with the outcomes? 7. What anchorage did I use (i.e. slogan) and how satisfied am I with the outcomes? 2. What types of camera shots/framing have you used, why and how satisfied are you with the outcome? 3. What connotations have I used in my advert and why?(e.g. use of colour, props, background, costume, lighting, settings, actors positioning/gestures, font style etc. How effective do I believe my choices to be in appealing to my audience? 8.Comparing my advert to real trainers adverts, how is mine’s similar (i.e. conventions successfully reproduced) and what specific improvements could be made?
