As an individual that fought for the Union's victory, I am proud to say that I helped shape this country to the way it is today. I gave everything I had for this country so that it could prosper as a free, unprejudiced nation. My missing leg is proof. Unfortunately, I am not certain that my country will repay me. Recently, news got out that the Germans were trying to ally with Mexico, and that there may be a chance that a Mexican army may invade from the boarder. I currently live in southern Texas, I cannot walk, and I am concerned about my safety; something i fought so much for. Now, there is an ongoing threat of a Mexican army invading my residence and killing me. My name is Ronald Erdenheim, and if my country is to pay it's respect to me, a war needs to be fought against the Germans to end this threat jeopardizing my safety, and the safety of hundreds of other individuals accordingly. It is vital that this war be fought so that the Citizens of the United States can enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
