PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
April 2014–Present working with BANK ALFALAH LIMITED at CIBG Multan as
Relationship Manager (Asst. VP/Range-V). My assigned portfolio amounts to
Rs5,000M (USD 47M approx.), diversified mainly on Fertilizer, Textile, Sugar, Power
& Poultry sectors. Mycoreresponsibilities are Relationship Management and business
development and necessary support functions.
January 2013–April 2014 worked with SONERI BANK LIMITED at CIBG Multan
as Senior Relationship Manager. My portfolio comprised Rs3,300M (USD 31M
approx.), diversified majorly on the Textile, Fertilizer & Sugar sectors. I was
responsible for Relationship Management and business development. Key accounts
in my portfolio included a fastest growing conglomerate, Fatima Group, and several
textile based relationships.
2. June 2012 – January 2013 worked with SONERI BANK LIMITED at Head Office
Lahore & Central Office Karachi in the Retail Banking Group as Senior Relationship
Manager. My assignment included Management of credit and trade portfolio of the
Bank, planning for growth, efforts for down-scaling the NPL portfolio etc.
Additionally I have also been involved in directly marketing accounts in the rice belt
across Jhang District where I built a pipeline business of Rs 3,000M (USD 28M
approx.). Further I, along with my team made efforts for improvement in the TAT
for an efficient credit processing and timely approvals. My efforts also included
bringing improvement in markup recoveries in the Retail Banking Portfolio from
approximately 90 days to 30 days over a period of two quarters.
30th September, 2007 – June, 2012 worked with ALLIED BANK LIMITED as
Senior Relationship Manager at its Regional Headquarters, Multan. My primary
responsibilities included portfolio management & marketing. I have successfully
managed a portfolio of over Rs 3,500M (USD 30M approx.), analyzed & financed
various business units across the seasonal belt of Punjab such as Cotton Ginning,
Rice Husking, Flour Milling &Oil Milling etc. In addition I have been managing Non-
Performing Loans (previously Restructured/Rescheduled) and also successfully
recovered a number of stuck-up finances. I have also worked in the fertilizers sector
to bring in non-fund based business for the Bank to improve liability business.
Further, I have also introduced deposits of over Rs 20M (USD 0.2M approx.).
30th March, 2006 – December, 2007 worked with ALLIED BANK LIMITED as
Relationship Manager at its Corporate Centre, Multan. My responsibilities included
corporate account mobilization and credit initiation, disbursement & management. I
have handled a credit portfolio of over PKR 2,000M (USD 19M approx.) ranging
from Working capital facilities to Project Financing. My various projects included
financing in the Textile Spinning/Weaving, Power & Fertilizer sectors.
I have arranged & disbursed Long Term Finance for Export Oriented Projects (LTF-
EOP) for Rs 1,400M (USD 13M approx.) to the Weaving Sector.

Upon joining I was assigned certain challenging tasks which included revival of
highly potential relationships with whom business commencement had not been
possible or halted. During my first year with the Bank I was able to revive these
relationships and in one instance credit size had to be enhanced by almost twice
the approved package. Over a period of less than 2 years I was able to ensure
optimum utilization of credit lines in all of my relationships. Further, I have also
generated liability business out of my relationships of over USD 14M approx.
Likewise, I also engage in cross-selling and have sold various products to my
clients to their satisfaction.
During my first month at the Bank I scaled the rice belt at Jhang & vicinity where
I marketed and financed business pipeline worth Rs 2,000 (USD 19M approx.)
with Rs 80M (USD 0.7M approx.)
I was involved in marketing & disbursement to Northern Power Generation
Company Limited, (GENCO-III) TPS, Muzaffargarh to the amount of Rs
1,100M (USD 10.4M approx.).
