Goal of Design Factory Bootcamp
• The aim of Design Factory Bootcamp is to enable the
RUN-EU partners to 1) launch their own Design Factory
as well as to 2) become a member of Design Factory
Global Network (DFGN).
• Monday: Grouping and starting to Design together
• Tuesday: Enterprise collaboration & Teacher’s role
• Wednesday: Prototyping
• Thursday: Design Factory Culture
• To start organising together transdisciplinary and
transnational Design Factory Workshops for students of
the RUN-EU community.

Institutional Design Factory
• Institutional Design Factory refers to a Design Factory established in a university that is not
a part of Design Factory Global Network
• For an institutional Design Factory to join Design Factory Global Network (DFGN) you need
to apply and meet certain requirements

Designing a Design Factory
• The Bad News:
• There is no recipe for designing a Design Factory
• You cannot copy-paste a Design Factory
• Design Factory is never finished, complete or ready
• The Good News:
• You are not alone, we are with you on the journey
• We are willing to share our resources and experiences to the best of our ability
• RUN-EU provides an excellent context for collaboration between Design Factories
