Avoiding Left Leaning Institutions.
Problems Faced in India:
1. Left Leaning Institutes (AMU, JNU, etc.)/States (WB,
Kerala, Tripura, etc.).
2. Less Awareness about Israel (Indian Students prefer US
Institutes).
3. Religious/Cultural difference between India & Israel
(Almost no knowledge about Judaism in India).
4. Negative Image of Israel Generated in Indian Media
(Indian media is center left & pro-Palestine).
5. Focus of Government on Swadesi (Indian made) – New
Mantra of Modi Government.
6. Non-availability of Loans from Indian banks for studying in
Israel (Indian Banks only offer loans for studies in US).
7. Threats to Israeli Initiative in India by pro-Palestine
groups.
8. Language barrier – English can be used as a Common
Language.
9. Demographics – Only <0.1% are Jews.
10. Bollywood – Never Focuses on Israel, never shot any film
there. This impacts awareness about Israel in India.
