SAP Ariba held its annual user conference in Las Vegas with over 3200 attendees from customers, partners, and influencers. The top takeaways from the conference were that SAP Ariba has gained momentum by adding 10 Global 100 customers and $300 billion in additional spend on its procurement network. SAP Ariba also showed traction for its Guided Buying and Spot Purchase products which aim to lower total cost of ownership through improved user experience and lightweight account types. Blockchain technology was demonstrated as a key area of innovation for procurement in the future.
