The IFPRI-Egypt Seminar Series is part of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project called “Evaluating Impact and Building Capacity” (EIBC) that is implemented by IFPRI. The seminar supports USAID’s Agribusiness for Rural Development and Increasing Incomes (ARDII) project’s objectives.

- In addition, in 2017 the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation approved Decree no. 974 concerning registration, handling and use of agricultural pesticides in Egypt. The Positive impact of the two previous program phases were after finishing training program during the first and second phase of the project through 2016 and 2017 season, a number of graduated pesticide applicators has been employed at privet agricultural production companies, also, 20 graduated trainee were nominated to be recruited on an agro-exporters Association. Also, Some graduated pesticide applicators employed by privet hospitals to work in controlling home insect pests, in consequence of the good results of conscious media some agricultural companies trained agronomists on pesticides safe use.
