List of activities

1. First at all, individually, based on these pictures you have watched , make a short written
comparison with some aspects of your own village that a foreign person can consider
strange, bizarre, curious... Try to imagine it!, it's a question of empathy. -At least four lines.-
Secondly, working individually again, make a recording using VOKI with a short description
of one of your favourite pub in your village. You must take into consideration the specific
language of our subject, so, attend to aspects refeared to textures, colours, forms, and
analyze the spaces, if they are narrow or wide, shapes of the furniture, if the rooms are well
iluminated or not... Just look at the bar carefully, as if you were a tourist… and enjoy doing
this exercise!!
Now, you have to create your own –and beautiful- slideshow with your own vision of your
village related to the third topic I've shown you: landscapes, houses, and churches, and some
others you want to add -official buildings, hospitals, schools, Town Hall... Let free your
imagination. Imagine you are showing your village to a foreign people, so, choose carefully
the best things they’ll have to visit in your village. Your point of view it’s important for them
– and for me!-.(SLIDELY)
After it, you are going to create a painting based on Bacon's artwork of one of the aspects
you think a foreign people can find strange in your own town. -We are going to use
tempera,an appropiated kind of paper, brushes, White spirit, and a dish towel to create it.-

2. After it, you will investigate a little bit!!!
In pairs, search on Internet some information related to Francis Bacon's biography and his
works of art. Maybe he is one of the most famous painters born in Dublin. You have to search
not only pictures, but some pieces of information of his life, and why he painted as he did. -
These ideas will be really useful for your future work, so, try to do your best-.
Next step: you will paint a corner of your village,it will form part of your future work. You
will use tempera, an appropiated kind of paper, brushes, and a dish towel to create it.-
You are getting to the finish line… Now you are going to create a painting based on Bacon's
artwork of one of the aspects you think a foreign people can find strange in your own town.
Then, you create a work of art using crayons, White spirit ,an appropiated kind of paper,
brushes, and a dish towel to create it.-
You have to créate a learning map explaining the most interesting places of your town from
your own point of view. (You’ ll use EDYNCO)
Finally you’ll create an infographic in which you add all your work,making a sort of
advertising flyer of your village to show it to a foreign person. (You’ ll use GENIALLY)
