3. INTRODUCTION
What is MANET ?
Mobile ad-hoc network.
Three main criteria
- Infrastructure-less
- Environment distributed
- Nodes are in general autonomous
6. BACKGROUND PROJECT
A need of a good routing protocol in order to
establish the connection.
The routing protocol must be able to cope up with
the high degree of node mobility.
The routing protocols behavior has to be analyzed.
7. PROBLEM STATEMENT
Challenging in routing due to dynamic network
topology.
Node mobility and topology are changing
frequently.
8. OBJECTIVE
To study the routing issues in MANET.
To simulate MANET with routing protocols with
different type of scenarios.
To evaluate the performance of routing protocols in
MANET.
10. Introduction
Discuss the methods and alternatives
that have been used.
Will discuss about the simulation that
are used.
Review about the research of
methodology and flowchart of the
project.
12. Firstly, the problem identification used to
explain about the problem that occurred.
Secondly, design and development tell
about overall development of this project.
Thirdly, in computer simulation step, it
discusses about the simulation that is
going to be used to implement this
project.
13. Simulation
Simulation is employ in this project
because it is requiring a high cost and
consumes a long time to be implemented
in real-life experiment.
In this case, simulation is preferred to
prevent this effectively.
Netsim simulator is used to simulate and
generalize the measurement results in
MANET environment.
