The Dunkirk Evacuation was one of the largest military withdrawals or evacuations in history. The operation allowed the majority of the British Army to escape the Germans during World War 2 and to survive to continue fighting the war. - The majority of the heavy equipment and
vehicles of the Allied soldiers had to be
