A pump, it gives water.
A filter to clean water.

10. Forests represent one third of Rhône-
Alpes region , it’s very important in the
mountains.
The climate allows a diversity of species,
conifers and others trees.

11. The forests are protected
in nature reserves!
For example, you shouldn’t
destroy fauna and the flora :
dont pollut, dont make fire, dont
throw rubbish everywhere!

12. The nature
reserve
of the Ecrins
It’s one of the
largest forest in
France.

13. Mont-blanc,
a large supply of fresh water in the
Alpes mountain.

14. The lake of Annecy is supplied with
Alpes’ waters.

15. This is the lake Aix-les-bains,
the bigger of Europe.

17. The Rhône measures 812 km.
The water is used for cultures,
factories .
The water is used to transport
people and goods.

18. They are a lot of constructions, and
an harbour all around the river.

19. So, it pollutes !!!

20. And in an other town, like Grenoble,
it’s the same thing!

21. In 2000, the
European Union
adopted a law to
preserve water!

In each member country of the Union European:
Scientifics have to evaluate pollution.
A police of water is created to sanctionne polluters.
The government must prevent the population in case of water polution.

22. All citizens
can act
by not diposing
of pollutants,
and using
phosphate-free
detergents with
an Ecolabel.
