            Write an equation in point­slope form for the line that 
            passes through each point with the given slope.
            1) (5, 3), m = 7

            Write each equation in standard form.
            2) y ­ 10 = 2(x  ­  8)

            3)    2y  +  3  =  ­1/3(x  ­  2)

            Write each equation in slope­intercept form.
            4) y ­ 11  =  3(x + 4)

            5)    y  +  4  =  3(3x  +  3)

            Lesson 4.4:

            *parallel lines ­ lines in the same plane that never intersect
                ...and have the same slope

            *perpendicular lines ­ lines in the same plane that intersect at right angles
                ...and have slopes that are "opposite reciprocals"
                     ie ­­> 3/4   and ­4/3
                          ...and the product of their slopes = ­1
