2. From the KELC Teachers:
From the Classroom:
Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. I know the month of December was a very busy
one here in the classroom. The children all worked so hard learning their songs for the Holiday Program,
and it really showed as they did an awesome job on the big night. The holiday season also provided us
several opportunities to spend time with our grandfriends as we went down for a Hanukkah tea and also a
special reading of the Gingerbread Man followed by decorating their very own gingerbread man. We would
like to give a big thanks to Phoebe’s mom Laura for coming into the classroom and sharing her French
holiday traditions of decorating yule logs and then finding presents in their shoes. We are very happy to
welcome Ben and Seraphina into our classroom. They will be joining the Giraffes. On the same note we are
sad to say Robin has once again gone south for the winter and will not be with us again until spring. Our
next ELI trip will be on January 20th
as we travel to the Cleveland Museum of Art to learn about sculptures.
As always, you are welcome to join us. We just need to know in advance for a correct lunch count. We
hope that the year 2016 brings you and your family many happy and blessed events. Sara, Karen, Mary and
Macie
