• Facebook, students can be taught how to responsibly communicate with people
from around the world in a healthy and educational manner
• Twitter, students can use this to see and understand major topics around the
world with twitter hashtags
• YouTube, students can look up videos about any topic they desire and can be
taught how to search videos in an educational manner rather than just for pure
entertainment
• Flip cameras, students can record themselves doing a specific task or project
and post them online for students to see across the world
• Web Quest, students can draw conclusions and gain information about an array
of different cultures and etc.

Technology can be used in many different ways when
teaching global studies. For example, you can use YouTube
to show your class videos from the news around the world
that may eventually effect the United States.

Globalization has become very important because
it has opened up broader communication lines and
sharing of basic knowledge, technology,
investments, resources, and ethical values.
