My summer vacation this year if you even call it a vacation has been insane. My summer started
out normal until the day I to went visit my dad. My parents had recently gotten a divorce so they no
longer lived together. It all started with the secret that my dad had no idea about. Just before I got in
the plane my mom gave me a hatchet, which I had no idea what I would ever use it for. I was
getting there on a bush plane with a very friendly pilot. He even let me drive for a while, every
thing was fine until he started having problems, big problems. Seconds later he was silent. Silent.
That's when everything went wrong. It took me awhile to figure out what's happening but I made
somewhat of a plan to ВЁlandВЁ the plane. Once the plane ran out of gas I crash land into a lake
somewhere in the Canadian forest. Insane.
As soon as the plane hit the water it was a race to surface before my lungs filled with lake water.
The journey to the shore was tiring and bye the time I finally woke up from who knows how long
my face was fried and mosquitoes were eating me alive. Millions of things were flying through my
mind at that time, the pilot, where am, what do I do, food, and shelter. I didn't even know where to
start. Food. I knew I needed food before I could do anything. I grabbed a sip of water from the
lake hesitant at first. The pilot. I decided I needed the water so I got some anyways trying not to
think of the pilot. As I stumbled up the hill trying to keep the lake in sight at all times I found
some sort of berries and started shoving my mouth full of whatever those berries were. Once I
got back to the lake I realized eating too many of those berries made me feel like my stomach was
tied in knots and was being chewed by those berries and spit back out. Gut cherries. After that I
knew I could not live off those gut cherries,so I went in search for more food. About a hundred
yard past the gut cherry bushes were Raspberries. Then I really stuffed my face and didn't even
realize that there was also someone eating the berries as well, it wasn't a person; but a bear. Insane.

My Summer Vacation
Summer vacation. A time to relax, kick back and sleep. Well, at least for most people. My
summer vacation was packed. I ended up going to five states in a total of three weeks. One whole
week was spent in D.C., but that is a story for another time. I want to tell you about my trip down
south with my dad's side of the family. The trip was crazy, hectic, and full of a lot of driving; it was
really fun at the same time. I hope my explanation of this trip will come close to the amount of joy
this summer trip brought me. I had not flown since I was in second grade, so getting to fly again
was great. My grandparents were flying to Midway Airport from Las Vegas, so they decided to
have my brother, Jonathan, and I fly with them to Memphis. After about a half hour of waiting,
we finally saw my nana and papa. My Nana and Papa and I hadn't seen each other since our trip to
D.C. a few weeks prior to this, so we were really happy to see each other. My brother and
grandparents waited on the plane for at least forty–five minutes before it took off. The wait was
extremely long and tedious. After the plane finally took off, the fun part started. I received a soda,
peanuts, and I was able to chew my sweet mint gum. The plane ride was great until the last ten
minutes of the flight. I get extremely stuffed up in the head when I have too much dairy, and that

My Summer Vacation
You may have heard about the other students summer. What they think about school, what they
want to do after school and what their goals in life are. I kind of find myself interesting at times,
but not always. I can tell you that I've been to many fun places over the years I have been thinking
long and hard about what I want to be when I grow up, and I can tell you I have my life goals set

When I was ten years old my Father took me to Universal Studios in Orlando Florida during summer
vacation. It is one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It was my first time on an airplane,

My cousin Audrey saw how many times it went upside–down and decided not go on. Brandon and I
made fun of her, but once I was strapped to my seat, I was having second thoughts myself. We
took off in what felt like a fraction of a second. Before I knew it, I was being whipped around
sharp turns and flipped around loops. It was so much fun! When we got off and walked toward
the exit, we saw a wall of television screens, which was showing candid shots of us on the ride.

Summer was finally here! I was sitting on my bed thinking of some possible choices we could go to
this summer. The only problem was deciding where to go, should I go to New York and swim in the
refreshing blue waters? Or should I go to Adventureland and get on the fun and scary rides? Or

Summer Trip
Going to the coast is so exciting! This last summer I went to Cresent City and Eureka, California
and had a good time. All though there was a lot of people in a suburban and it was very crammed.
In the car there was me, my dad, stepmom, my sister Brenda, her fiance, and five of my other little
siblings. It was one long ride to our first destination, Crescent City. "How much longer?" I asked my

After we got done eating and got our stuff out of the car, it was time to go to ocean world! Once
we got there there was immediately a surfboard outside that you could take a picture on, and of
course I had to take a picture on it. When we went inside we barely had to wait because the next
group was about to go on the tour of the place. The first thing we did was go to this feel pool where
we got to touch starfish and plants. Then we went to the aquarium where we saw a bunch of fish,
sharks, stingrays, and the underwater part of the seals.
After the aquarium there was my two favorite parts of it all. First we went to the shark pool, here
there was two sharks and one that was a brown color was still because it was nocturnal. The other
one that was grey was just swimming around in a circle around the small pool. It was time to pet
sharks! The still brown one was easier to pet, obviously. The grey one you had to pet once it came
around to you. The shark petting was the part I was most excited about but the next event was my
favorite.
Next was the seal show! There were two seals, one did most of the tricks. The seal threw balls into
hoops. She could jump really high and she loved to slide down a slide into the water. The show
was so cute and I loved it so much. Sadly, the seal show was the last thing and we had to leave after.

"Hooray!" I shouted, I am so excited about today. Why am I so enthusiastic you may ask, because
today is the first day of summer vacation.We were on our way to the beach Every year me and my

Being together as one makes you stronger. My family and I were vacationing in Punta Cana of the
Dominican Republic.When we landed at the airport my family and I noticed that it was hot humid
and very tropical. When we all got off the plane and got our bags it took a while to get past passport
security. The people in myfamily that went were my Mom, Dad, Older Brother, and my Little
Brother. When we finally got through passport security, a driver at the airport picked us up and took
us to Club Med Punta Cana. when we got there the staff welcomed us with cold mango juice and
gave us a tour and description of the whole resort. We got to our rooms and noticed the rooms

Although the drive was three hours the time went fast before I knew it we were at the airport.
I had never been on an airplane. My stomach felt like I had just eaten rotten fish and I was about
to throw up. I was so excited to go, but at the same time I was scared because I had never been on

For my summer vacation I went to three main places .In the beginning of summer at the first part
I went to Twin Falls Idaho with my Dad . We rented a car and explored the state .Apart from seeing

Two summers ago in 2014 I took my annual summer vacation to Toronto. I spent two months with

That morning I assumed Nylah felt troublesome and Navaeha felt bored as well. They plotted a
wicked scheme to have fun. They decided to take turns popping in and out of my room and
robbed me of a half an hour of sweet sweet sleep. I, of course stayed up later than I should have, so

Pros And Disadvantages Of Summer Vacation
Summer Vacation Sept. 14, 2017 Summer break is one of the very few things teachers and
students look forward to, so is it fair to have it cut short and will it be a disadvantage? For starters,
when students start their vacation, the first two things in their mind is; no more sleeping early,
and video games, which both of those will occupy them for at least half of the summer, if not
more. In some countries like China and Germany, Summer breaks last around 6 weeks and those
countries tend to have higher IQ marks with Germany having a total average IQ score of 102 and
China with 105. In the end, children will still have to review what they've learned over the past
few school years when they get back to school, so basically, having more yet shorter breaks
during the school year is more convenient and less time will be wasted for not only students, but
teachers and principals too. In conclusion, the logical answer is; summer vacation should last for
only about 6 weeks as it will help students more than playing video games and watching TV.
Summer vacation is labelled a time in between two school years in which you may take a break
from studying and focus on sports... well expected to focus on sports and extra summer activities,
but 2 months is quite a long time to be away from school considering only 1 in 10 students will

My summer vacation i weant to mexico. I visited my dad's side of the family in a city called
Tepic. I had the time of my life going to the beach, playing soccer, and bonding with codeine. I
rarely visit my mom's side of the family that live in michoacan because it is so dangerous their.
My mother says there was often gunshots in the street as a kid. My grandpa and one of my
uncles died from a gunshot to the head. She really don't like to talk about it. We go to mexico in
airplane because it is the fastest way and sometime it is the cheapest way..My parents don't

family because they thought my grandma was going to pass away. The trend started when she hit

immigrants but are now U.S citizens left. My grama had 8 children and I only know 6. My aunt in

My Summer Vacation
My summer of 2017 consisted of visiting places all over the United States such as New York City,
Washington D.C., and Florida. Not only did traveling this summer teach me new things, but it also
made me go outside my comfort zone and experience new things. This was single–handedly the best
summer of my life and wish I could relive it over again.
On the last day of school, my mom surprised me with a spontaneous trip to florida on the next day.
We went to Del Ray Beach, Florida. This beach is on the north side of the state; so rather than
waiting for sunset, we got up for sunrise! Leaving the next morning, we arrived in Florida for the
first time ever that night. We arrived around 9 pm and it was 85 degrees in pitch black. Florida is
so unbelievably humid and hot all around the clock. While in Florida, we shopped, drove along the
coast, and went to an Alligator farm. Unlike the other trips, this one consisted of laying on the
beach and relaxing all day. This trip was probably honestly my least favorite trip of the three.
Towards the end of the summer, I was invited to go on a paid trip with my basketball team to the
capital of the United States, Washington D.C. Not only was this trip exciting, but also a great
learning experience; considering I didn't go with our school in 8th grade. We walked past the White
House and i didn't know the White House has 35 bathrooms! Like 4 people live there, what's the use?

about sleeping in and appreciating the time off, it includes spending time with your close friends and
family, and that is exactly what I did this summer break. There were many fascinating things I did
this summer and in this essay I will tell you a few of things I enjoyed doing.
Spending time with close relatives and is exactly what I did to kickoff my summer even though
massive amount of them lived out of the state Indiana going to Seattle, Mexico, Texas, and Virginia.

For that rest of the day we went to a restaurant called Puckett's and apparently it is right down the
road from Justin Timberlake's recording studio/private house, All of the kids including me went
to his front and touched his door knob and I might of took a sneak peek inside his house. The last
day we were there we visited a beautiful waterfall, even though it was a lovely site the water part
was very deadly. The reason why it was deadly was there were big boulders everywhere you
stepped, and there were water moccasins which are venomous snakes that lurked around in the
water. When it was time to live the waterfall a water moccasin was about 20 feet in front of me and
my friends, thankfully another guy ran into the water scaring the snake away making it safe for me
and my buddies to get out. Honestly out of the whole entire summer this had to be my favorite
vacation.
This next vacation isn't really a vacation it's more of an event but it was fun, hilarious, and
relaxing like a vacation. After Tennessee we went seven days later we went to Detroit, Michigan
for this thing called a muck fest. A muck fest is 5k with muddy obstacles that you run into on your
way to the finish line. The race only lasted 2 hours for my mom, dad, and other family members to
finish. The best part was when I was able to do the last three obstacles and get

I cherish all of the places that I get to travel to and experience. The summer vacation of 20_ _
really struck my attention when something very alarming happened. My mom, dad, brother, two
cousins (Cade and Callie), and my uncle Al, and aunt Kris, and I were all getting ready to board
the subway below the streets of Washington D.C. This was not my first ordeal with the putrid
railway; whereas it was my cousin's families first time. First went Cade then Drayton, next was
Callie, and lastly myself who all walked onto the subway. The doors began to close. Beep, beep,
beep! As my family and I walked down the long stretch of the stairs, we heard a lot of chatter. The
air was murky and the lights were dim. Our dads paid instantly and my family and I were on our
way. The subway came after waiting a maximum of five minutes! Before we boarded the subway,
we assisted a father with his child in a stroller to exit the train before the doors closed. After that
situation, my family and I were very excited to finally get onto the metro and then visit the
monuments. Suddenly, we heard this weird beeping sound, let's just say no one knew what it meant
at the time. First rushed Cade then Drayton, next was Callie and lastly myself who all hustled onto
the subway. The doors closed; again, going beep, beep, beep! From the inside the subway doors, it's
ironic seeing your parents trying to reopen the doors, on the other side. It was puzzling and unreal.
"Wait! No!" I screamed.

The minute that everybody has been expecting for has at long last arrived. The people are inclining
toward the edge of their seats, listening for the last chime to ring to unleash them to freedom. We all
love it when summer vacation has arrived, but the time just passes by so fast. A high percentage of
the students want there to be a longer summer vacation, but are there really any benefits? Well yes in
fact a longer vacation will be associated with many benefits such as increased social life, health
benefits, and educational plus financial gains.
Students need time to relax and de–stress. With the accumulation of homework, projects,
assignments, tests and quizzes, students are constantly working and have no time to relax. This can
be overwhelming, but students still put in the effort just to make it through the year because they
know they can rest in the summer. Furthermore, this could cause students to become unmotivated
because they will think that they are trapped in a prison in which they are boundlessly doing
work and will never meet their own goals. A longer vacation will allow us to clear our minds and
open them to new possibilities that would not be possible if we were to follow the same routine
every day. Likewise, it is not only the students that need this vacation, but it is also the staff and
faculty as well who would definitely rather see their family and friends instead of the students for a
