3. Introduction My name is Jennifer Johnson. I am a teacher, daughter, sister, friend , wrestling coach, adventure seeker, and learner. Over the course of my life I have come to think of myself as evolving . I am fortunate enough to become a teacher and get to have a career I am passionate about. Over the years of course work and practicum experiences, I have come to think that the purpose of education should be to teach skills that will further your social and intellectual growth and help you build emotional and spiritual well-being. Qualities that I feel are worth developing would be compassion, appreciation, acceptance, confidence, independence, and working well alone and in group settings. One thing that I try to incorporate into my classroom is my passion for different subjects and activities. I feel that by doing so students might be able to feel more engaged in those areas. I believe that family and friends play an important role in a student’s education by creating a supportive environment, learning support, and even helping with homework. Nutrition and physical activity are my best suggestions for growing minds. Thank you for taking the time to review my professional profile.
