2. John Metallo is recognized as a leading
public school administrator in the states of
New York and Connecticut. While Dr. John
Metallo served as superintendent for the Fort
Plain Central School District, the elementary
school was named as a National School of
Excellence, and the high school was chosen
as a New York State School of Excellence.
